Redemptive Art..

I'd like to call this one "REDEMPTIVE ART" simply because this was painted on a torn canvas that I chose to "redeem".. (I stuck a board canvas onto the stretched canvas to create the 3D effect) 😃😃

I know this might sound deep, but it does remind me that we were all broken, torn and lost - 
BUT GOD.. chose to make something out of us.

Beauty from ashes..

"A bruised reed He will not break,
 And smoking flax He will not quench; 
He will bring forth justice for truth."

ISAIAH 42:3

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Messiah who saved me from eternal death. I am also the work of His hands.. a work in progress, as He fashions me and changes me - little by little - to be more and more like Him. The one Person I admire the most when it comes to creativity and imagination - it is this same Jesus - The Creator of all the earth, the skies, the sun, the moon, the stars, the animals, the birds... I have inherited a very tiny fraction of this gift of art and its appreciation, because I myself, am a child of God. I hope in the coming days, you will be able to see what I see in the little things of this life that has been granted me...

Anesthesia is a very 'hands-on' department. It requires a lot of skill to advance needles (in various places!) with just the right amount of pressure when administering anesthetic drugs prior to surgery.  Steady hands. Nimble fingers.  It may be easy to assume that anesthesiologists hold a lot of power in their hands when we do things quickly.  The different Names of our living God embed beautiful and precious promises in them. Have you experienced the providence of your Jehovah Jireh? Has the unexplainable peace of Jehovah Shalom quietened your deepest anxieties? Have you brought your broken hearts and crushed spirits to Jehovah Rapha who can heal you physically, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally? The eyes of El-Roi search the whole earth in order to strengthen the hearts of those committed to Him. How have you lifted the banner of  Jehovah Nissi  in your battle against the world today? In the person of His only Son, Jesus Christ, Jehovah Tsidekenu offers righteousness to all who believe. Do we look forward in faith, to the time when we can live together with  Jehovah Shammah  in all His glory? Crossroads

ISAIAH 42:16 I will lead the blind by a way they did not know; I will guide them on paths they have not known. I will turn darkness to light in front of them and rough places into level ground. This is what I will do for them, and I will not forsake them. Ever felt like the directions in your life are all messed up? Like there are no proper 'sign boards' and you seem to be aimlessly wandering? Cling on to this promise... your real breakthrough might be just around the corner...  Do not give up just yet.. His right hand is never too short to reach yours..  And the Lord will never fail to perfect that which concerns you... (Psalm 138:8)
